This cast aluminum 3D printer bed makes for a superior print bed, far exceeding what comes standard on most consumer 3D printers in terms of flatness, rigidity and stability.
****Beds with built in
magnets are assembled to order and have a minimum of one week processing
time****
****Beds with built in
magnets must ship with a GROUND transportation shipping service, if you do not
pick a ground service your order will be adjusted and you will be invoiced if
there is a price difference****
This bed incorporates the following features:
-CNC Machined, to ensure all features are exactly where they should be
-Premium cast aluminum plate, we only use MIC6, K100S, and ATP-5 cast plate to make our beds from.
-Machined perimeter - no raw saw cut edges, giving you a nice finished appearance
-All holes are precisely sized and countersinks made exactly the size they need to be.
-Build surface locating pins - When using a magnetic build surface, out locating pins (screws) aid you to placing the removable build surface, every time.
-Thermal Sensor groove milled into the top surface. This positions the sensor as close as possible to the build surface, thereby giving the best possible temperature reading.
-Thermal fuse and earth ground mounting locations – we provide tapped holes to mount a thermal fuse and an earth ground lead, to facilitate the safest installation possible.
-An additional 15mm on the back edge of the bed to allow for attachment of cable clamps, cable drag chains. In this bed extension there are 3 sets of M3 holes 25mm apart for the clamps or drag chains to attach to.
-Hardware included - We include the required hardware; New M4 leveling screws, washers. Additionally we include the build surface backstop pin (scews) and screws for mounting a thermal fuse and earth ground.
-Tapped holes for mounting a thermal fuse and ground lead.
Specs:
310mm X 310mm Printer Area
310mm X 325mm X 6.3mm Overall Dimensions
Weight:
Flatness - Standard grade beds have a flatness of 0.120mm or better, every bed plate we make is CMM inspected for flatness before packaging.
Magnet Version Specs
-15 samarium cobalt magnets, placed in the top surface flush or just barely below flush with the top surface. With 3lbs of pull each and a temp rating up to 300*C. These beds are made to order and have about a one week processing time.
-Typically the same weight or lighter than a our bed plus a 1mm adhesive magnet sheet
-Magnet beds do not hold the spring steel print surface plate as well as an adhesive magnet sheet, this is mainly because you are holding smooth metal on smooth metal versus smooth metal onto a grippy plastic surface
-We recommend using a spring steel sheet as thick as possible, 0.5mm or thicker and only use steel. There are some magnetic stainless steel sheets out on the market and they do not hold well
-The use of double sides spring steel sheets is not recommended as it reduces the magnetic pull and reduces the friction between the steel sheet and the printer bed.
-Our magnets are held in with a combination of adhesive and a screw. Both the screw and the magnet are not removable, it will rip the threads out of the bed and we will not offer refunds for this
These bed plates fit the following printers
Elf CoreXY
Koonovo Elf CoreXY
Coreception CoreXY
CR-10 V1
CR-10S
CR-10 Smart Pro
Ender 3 S1 Plus

As delivered this is a bare cast aluminum bed that will require you to provide a heater (if you want a heated bed) and a print surface to print on. Most common heaters are either an adhesive silicone heater pad or the factory heated bed. The factory heated bed sandwiched onto this bed plate is the least ideal but has worked for some customers. For build surfaces the most common is to use an adhesive bed-side magnet and spring steel plate system, like the Wham-Bam system. Alternately you could apply an adhesive build surface, like Build tack or PEI, directly to this bed.
These beds are made from cast aluminum tooling plate with the top and bottom surfaces left untouched (mill finish). This means occasionally there can be some small marks on the surface from material handling. Nothing significant, but still visually noticeable. This is just normal condition for the material. We do everything we can to deliver a visually appealing product to our customers but we can't prevent what happened before we buy our raw material.
